Jane Linsmeyer

Jane Linsmeyer, 90 Appleton, WI passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. She was born August 18, 1932 to the late Norbert and Jeanette Van Den Berg.

On October 7, 1950 Jane was united in marriage to Edward Linsmeyer. They raised a family and farmed together in Seymour, an unseparable couple.

She loved flower and vegetable gardening and going to farmers markets. Her spare time was filled with knitting, crocheting, embroidery, many crafts and going to craft sales. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Jane is survived by her three children: Jan (Dave) Offenstein, Elaine (John) Fargen, Edward (Mary) Linsmeyer; grandchildren: Matt (RoseAnn) Linsmeyer, Jeremy (Ari) Linsmeyer and Bryan (Ashley Robinhorst) Linsmeyer; great-grandchildren: Bryce, Stella and Nash; sisters-in-law: Shirley Van Den Berg, Virginia Bublitz, Sherry Van Den Berg, Diane Van Den Berg; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Linsmeyer; parents, Norbert and Jeanette Van Den Berg; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joseph and Frances Linsmeyer; sister; Beatrice (Bernard) Williams; brothers: Donald, Raymond, Richard and Edward Van Den Berg. Many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, WI from 4 PM to 8 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM Visitation at St. Edward Church, Mackville, WI Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Fr. Robert Chinnapan officiating, assisted by Deacon Jeff Hofacker. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Seymour.
