Janice "Jan" Marian (Schadrie) Anderson
On the early morning of January 16th, 2016, Janice Marian Anderson, 76, passed away unexpectedly at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, Wisconsin, she was comforted by her husband, Robert.
Janice was born December 12, 1939 in Green Bay, Wisconsin She is survived by her husband, Robert Anderson and their children: Barbara (Patrick) Widule, Cynthia (Brian) Minten, Lori (Lewis) Wagner, Keith (Roni) Anderson, Robert (Shelley) Anderson, Carol (John) Topp and Timothy (Debbie) Anderson; 16 grandchildren; Robby and Matt Widule, Natasha Anderson, Natalia Rodriguez, Larrissa Wagner, Bryan Anderson, Corey Anderson, Brent LaDuke, Zach Anderson, Christopher and Cennah Anderson, Krista, Jamie and Kacey Topp, Cameron and Rachel Anderson. Janice is further survived by three great-grandchildren: Kara Ruvalcaba, Aubrei Anderson and Kypton Rodriguez. She is further survived by her loving brothers and sisters: Gary (Carol) Schadrie, Patrick (Anna) Schadrie, James (Connie) VerKuilen, Diane Jacobson, Carol (Jack) Konkle, Bonita (Bob) Calmes, David (Geri) VerKuilen, Mary (Rich) Zenisek, John (Mary Jo) VerKuilen, Margaret (Rich) Storey, Ted (Beth) VerKuilen and Roseann (Jerry) Olson and their children.
Janice married Robert Anderson April 23, 1960 in De Pere, Wisconsin. They have been happily married for 55 years. She graduated from West De Pere High School in 1958. She retired from Empire Metal Company, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2001. Janice enjoyed her large family and cherished her time with them. She loved playing cards, games and helping her husband with the family history. She also enjoyed traveling and wintering with her husband in Arizona.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick Schadrie and Marie Schadrie/Ver Kuilen, her stepfather George Ver Kuilen and a sister, Joanne Carol Schadrie.
Celebration of Janice's life will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish, N5589 County Road E, De Pere, Wisconsin on Saturday, January 23, 2016 with Fr. John Chrysostom Katamba officiating. Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. with Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, West De Pere, Wisconsin. Online condolences may be expressed at
