Jean I. Johnson, 96, was born on October 9, 1926, to Florence Moran Bowman and George Johnson in Saltzburg, Pennsylvania. She was one of four siblings, Violet, Faye, and Prudy, who predeceased her.
She married Raymond L. Johnson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin on July 16, 1947, in Washington D.C., both serving in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (Jean in records for a few years and Raymond in investigation until he retired). They lived in Washington D.C., Alabama, New Jersey, New York, and Wisconsin.
She is survived by her daughters: Jacqueline Johnson (Patrick) and Janet (Bruce) Bauer; three grandchildren: Eric, Zena (Zach) and their children Teagan and Knox, and Zak (Kim).
Jean loved life, helping others, and was a master duplicate bridge player and an artist. She was a warm and loving mom and grandma, who will be missed. Jean and Raymond often said they felt their greatest accomplishment was their daughters.
Private family services will take place. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery in Howard, Wisconsin. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, Wisconsin is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com.
