Jean Severson

Jean A. Severson age 85, of Seymour passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Meadow Wood Assisted Living.

She was born May 20, 1938 in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of the late John and Ann (Christenson) Severson. Jean was a graduate of Sturgeon Bay High School. Bachelor's Degree from Luther College, Iowa, MBA from Anna Marie College, Massachusetts.

Jean was employed most of her working career with the YWCA in Wisconsin, Michigan and Massachusetts. Ending her working career as a Senior Representative in Northeastern Wisconsin for Foster Grant, Inc.

She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, the Sons of Norway Gronnvick Lodge, Green Bay and the Ephraim Historical Foundation.

Jean was very proud of her Norwegian Heritage and always looked forward to the traditional Lutifisk Dinner on Christmas Eve.

At Jean's request a service will be held at a later date at the Bayside Cemetery, Sturgeon Bay.
