Jean Stuewer, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
Lord has come to put his arm around Jean and said let me put my arm around you and take you to your beloved husband Ordwin who has been waiting for you. Jean was born to the late Raymond and Cecelia (Ambrosius) Krautkramer on May 10, 1940.
She lived in Brown County, village of Hobart until the age of five when her father sold their place and moved to Shawano County, where they bought a place on Hwy 156 near Pulaski.
Jean attended the Pulaski School District, graduating from grade school and went to the Pulaski High School and graduated from there in May of 1958.
She loved to play in the High School band. She also enjoyed playing her accordion with her girl friend Shirley. She also enjoyed bowling with her husband and friends. This is where she met Ordwin.
On June 26, 1965. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Ordwin Stuewer at the Assumption B.V.M. Parish in Pulaski.
They settled down on Ordwin's dad's place and took over the place for 27 years. Sold the place and moved to Suamico for retirement for 19 years when Ordwin took sick and could not get better. He passed away on December 1, 2010. So, then Jean sold the place in August 2011 and moved to De Pere.
Jean loved all the great times her and Ordie enjoyed dancing the polka. Thank you all for the grand times. Also, thanks to all the people that called and sent messages after the loss of Ordie.
