Jeffrey D. Rottier, age 59, of Seymour passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, September 27, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born February 26, 1962 a son of Norbert and Teena (Hock) Rottier.
He found the love of his life in high school, and was united in marriage to Virginia "Ginny" Hein on June 24, 1983 having celebrated 38 wonderful years of marriage. Time flies when you're having fun.
Jeff and Ginny, along with his parents, farmed on the family farm until 2002. He worked as a fabricator for Bayland Buildings and drove truck for Nutrition Services. Jeff was a founding member of Rottier Calves.
He was a longtime member of the Town of Seymour Fire Department and a charter member of the First Responder program.
Jeff was a proud grandfather and huge supporter of his family. He was always putting the needs of family and friends before his own. As a lover of life he lived to fulfill his dreams and the dreams of his family. He will forever be remembered as a fun-loving, quick witted friend to everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Ginny; four children: Miranda "Randi" (Jake Linsmeyer) Rottier and their daughter, Hadley; Tony (Jess Kiecker) Rottier and their son, Lincoln; Jessi Rottier, and Sami (fiance, Dylan Baumgarten) Rottier; parents, Norbert and Teena Rottier; brother, Ron Rottier; sisters: Ginny Rottier and Patty (Jim) Elie. He is further survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Vic and Janiece Hein; in-laws: Becky (Jon) Stellmacher, Laurie (Gregg) Palubicki, Chuck (Dorothy) Hein, and Joe (Beth) Hein; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Francis and Matilda Rottier; maternal grandparents, Alex and Violet Hock.
Visitation for Jeff will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a parish prayer service at 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, October 1, 2021 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar, from 9:00 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Sengole Dass, O. Praem and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
Our family appreciates keeping Jeff's memory alive by planting a tree in his honor or by memorial gifts that will be donated to his favorite causes.
To honor Jeff, please wear your favorite pair of jeans and flannel shirt for the visitation and funeral as his family will be doing the same.
