Jerome Van Lannen, age 79, passed away December 3, 2010 at Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah.
He was born July 6, 1931 to the late Norbert and Viola (Sigl) Van Lannen.
On August 5, 1950 he married Lucille Hackl.
Jerome worked in roofing, farming, and at Seymour Canning.
Jerome and Lucille operated J & L Bar near Hofa Park where he also raised pheasants, deer, and other animals.
He is survived by 4 sons: Wayne (Ellen) Van Lannen, Menasha; Michael (Lori) Van Lannen, Barling, Arkansas; John (Annette) Van Lannen, Pulaski; David (Christine) Van Lannen, Germany; 5 daughters: Jean Miller, White Bear Lake, Minnesota; Audrey Van Lannen, New London; Cheryl Van Lannen, Appleton; Marilyn Parker, Geneva, Illinois; Susan (Michael) Peters, Medford, WI; 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Also survived by 7 brothers: Robert, Vernon, Leonard, Dale, and Jim all of Pulaski, Ronald of Green Bay, and Gary of Suamico; 4 sisters: Joyce Kolodziej, Janice Robaidek, and Diane Dombrowski all of Pulaski, Faye Lasecki of Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by an infant son Richard and a brother Roger.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 10 AM until services at 1 PM with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Private burial will take place in Seymour City Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
