Jerrold Rusch

Jerrold W. (Jerry) Rusch, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2022, after battling cancer the last couple of years. He was born on May 8, 1951 to William and Catherine (Conradt) Rusch.

Jerry grew up in Seymour and was a graduate of Seymour High School Class of 1969. He had great memories of football, wrestling and fun times with friends. Jerry is a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Navarino.

He enjoyed going out to eat and of course getting ice cream after, even if it was after breakfast. He loved people and could start a conversation with anyone. He had the biggest heart. Jerry drove semi for White Elevator, Packerland Packing, Samons Trucking, Anchor Foods and VanGroll Trucking and was a member of the Million Mile Club.

He is survived by his children: Mike Rusch, Sam (Savannah) Rusch, and Amberae (Josh) Blau; grandchildren: Kyleah, Colin, Leonidas, Apollo, Echo, and Eleah; brothers and sister-in-law, Joey (Debbie) and Fred; nieces: Jackie, Chelsea and Christine; great-nephew and great-niece, Joey and Abby.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family are invited to Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and again on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Maranatha Baptist Church, Navarino from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Greg Sorenson officiating. Burial will take place at Bethesda Cemetery in Navarino.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jerry's memory to be donated to Jerry's favorite causes.

The family would like to thank his doctors, Dr Burns, Dr Badine, Dr Schinschke and Green Bay Oncology. Also to Heartland Hospice, especially Kalea and Christina.

A very special thank you to his niece, Jackie for taking him into her home and caring for him the last few months. You are a blessing to all of us.
