Jerry Kranzush, age 58, passed away Friday, April 13, 2007 at the University of Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis, MN, while waiting for a heart transplant. He was born February 13, 1949 in Green Bay, the son of William and Marie (Leininger) Kranzush of Seymour. On September 16, 1967 he was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Karen Beyer in Seymour. Jerry was a manager at K-Mart in Kenosha and later retired from the Sturgeon Bay store. He enjoyed camping, vacationing in St. George, Utah, and anything involving golf. Most of all he loved spending time doing activities with his family and friends including taking each grandchild to Disney World when they turned 5 years old and also when golfing with his friends Mike, Don, and Mark.

In addition to his wife, Karen, and mother, Marie, he is survived by a son Mike (Jessica) Kranzush of DePere and a daughter Melissa (Kip Effa) Kranzush of Green Bay. Jerry is also survived by three grandchildren: Chelci, Zachary, and Hannah; and a sister Judy (Marlin) Nelson of Seymour.

He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister.

Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 12:00 PM. until the time of the services at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.boettcherfuneralhomes.com In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
