Jesse De La Rosa

Jesse De La Rosa, age 86, of Seymour, passed away Monday morning, August 25, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 9, 1928 in Chicago, son of the late Atanacio and Bernabe (Rosas) De La Rosa.
He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Jesse retired from Inland Steel. He enjoyed time spent with family, and enjoyed eating at different restaurants and taking rides.
Survivors include his daughter, Loretta (Robert) Shampo; grandchildren: Steven Centers, Inga Centers, Pauline Centers, William Centers, Tony Paul, Roy De La Rosa Jr., Susan (Chase) Kinser, Sarah De La Rosa, David De La Rosa, Yenny, Oz San Antonio; great-grandchildren: Duane, Cameron, Edward, Alex, Rex, Alyssa, Anthony, Raina, Orion, Caitlin, Elizabeth, Ethan and Oden.
He is preceded in death by his children: Stephen, Marian and Roy; brothers: Stanley, Paul Roy, and Savino; one sister, Frances.
