Joanne M. Conradt, 81, of Black Creek, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018, at her home. She was born December 21, 1936, daughter of the late Elmer and Elna (Holtz) Woehler.
On September 8, 1956 she was united in marriage to James Conradt in Black Creek.
Her passion in her younger years was cake decorating, having worked at various bakeries over the years. She loved to play the accordion with her dad and brother. She was a strong believer in angels.
Joanne made many friends while working at Advance Industries and Piggly Wiggly.
Her children and grandchildren always had fabulous birthday cakes that Joanne would make. She always made sure there was plenty of food for the family gatherings.
Joanne is survived by her husband James; daughters: Sherry (Jerry) Fischer, Sandy (Jim) Sewall, and Lisa (Barry) Moravec; five grandchildren: Steve (Lisa) Fischer, Teresa (Andy) Stalsberg, Kristina (Andy) Haines, Tyler (Erica) Sewall, and Travis (Colette Clark) Sewall; seven great-grandchildren: Abbie, Kali, Charlie, Cole, Preston, Addison, and Nora. Further survived by a sister, Karen Arnold; sister-in-law, Jackie Woehler; brother-in-law, Bernie Kust; also survived by members of the Conradt family, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Vernie Woehler; sister, Jeanette Kust; brother-in-law, LeRoy Arnold; her special feline friend, TD; and her grand dog, Razz.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 2:00 pm until the funeral service at 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Joanne’s memory.
