Jackie (Jocelynn) Jane Loasching, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6 at the age of 71. Jackie was born on April 21, 1951 to the late Jim and Jane (Brown) Hestetune. Jackie lived her life with grace, humor and an unwavering love for her family.
Jackie will be remembered as a devoted wife to her loving husband of forty-nine years, Bill (William), and as an amazing mother to her four children and their spouses: Kelly (Matt) Kramp, Kari (Pete) Kraft, Kurt (Laura) Loasching, and Katie (Adam) Keyser. Her children were her true pride and joy and her passion for being a mother was reflected in the way she lived her life each day.
Jackie's love extended beyond her own children to her eight grandchildren: Zachary, Nathan, Thomas, Isaac, Eleanor, Ivy, Taylor, and Lydia, who brought her so much happiness and joy. Jackie cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, watching them grow and sharing with them her deep commitment to family.
Jackie is also survived by her sister Helen (Paul, deceased) Pelnar and her brother Jim (Barb) Hestetune.
Jackie's kindness, generosity, and love have touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her infectious smile, witty sense of humor, unwavering strength, and vibrant spirit will forever be ingrained in the memories of all those blessed to have known her.
Visitation will take place at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour, on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 9:00 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Bob Kabat and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Jackie gave instructions that memorials be given to "something they want to donate to, in their own names".
