Jody Mahon

Jody T. Mahon, age 41, of Seymour passed away June 4, 2009 at home of natural causes.

He was born June 11, 1967 in Greenville, South Carolina to Doug and Patricia (Buth) Mahon. On August 12, 1988 he was united in marriage to Bobbie Jo Johnson in Tennessee.

Jody worked in the flooring business since the age of 17 and most recently was employed by Total Floor Covering in Appleton.

Jody enjoyed working on motorcycles and was eager to help his boys with anything they needed. He was currently working on a motorcycle restoration project. Jody enjoyed going camping with his family as well as taking the opportunity to go fishing.

He was a very caring person and was quick to lend a hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jo; 2 sons, Jesse and Josh, both at home; his father, Doug Mahon, South Carolina; his mother, Patricia Mahon, Black Creek; sister Jenny (friend Skip) Mahon, Shiocton; brother Jeff Mahon, Black Creek. He is also survived by half and step siblings, and his three dogs: Lucy, Otter, and Aspen.

He was preceded in death by a brother Jaime, maternal and paternal grandparents.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, June 8, 2009 from 5 PM until services at 7 PM.

Jody, you have been the best soul mate and husband that anyone could ever ask for. Thank you for being such a wonderful father to our boys. We'll miss you Dad and will always love you.!
