GRIESBACH, JOHN P. "JACK"

John P. "Jack" Griesbach, age 64, passed away Friday morning, October 15, 2010 at his home. He was born November 3, 1945 to the late John and Arline (Stingle) Griesbach. On March 31, 1973 he was united in marriage to Joan Marien. The couple have celebrated 37 years of marriage together.
John was employed at Murphy Construction for 40 years and loved hunting with his sons, grandson and friends at Greunke Hunting Shack. He fixed and toured his Model T cars, and enjoyed riding his moped around Clover Lead Lakes and to ice fish. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek.
In addition to his wife, Joan he is survived by his children: Jamie (Val), Jason (special friend Jeanine Zabinske) and Jolene (fiance Aaron Vosters), all of Freedom; grandchildren: Cole, Breana and Keira; sisters: Therese Ann (Larry) Gonnering, Mary Ellen (Dave) Krizek and Janice Griesbach; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Alma Marien.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Lee and his father-in-law, Nolan Marien.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 4 PM until 8 PM with a prayer services at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 10 AM until funeral services at 11 AM with Father Theodore Hendricks officiating.
