JOHN R. VANDE CORPUT II," PAPA JOHN", age 82 passed away on February 3, 2015. He was born May 29, 1932 to the late John and Adrianna (Vander Klindert) Vande Corput

In his youth John worked on the family farm and purchased the home farm in 1953.

John married the Love of his life, JoAnne "Peggy" Schroeder on May 2, 1953 at St. Joseph Church in Green Bay and celebrated 62 years of marriage until Peggy's passing in May of 2014. Together they farmed in rural Seymour for 36 years until their retirement. After his retirement John worked for Seymour Canning Company, and L&M Industries in Seymour. He also worked for numerous farmers, neighbors and friends.

John is survived by his children: David (Debbie), Robin (Ron) Fischer, Todd (Rhonda), Brenda (Dan) Minard, Roger (Dodie), and Jody (Sherry); 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a brother Joe (Laverne) Vande Corput and his brother-in-laws and sister- in- laws.

John was preceded in death by his wife Peggy; his son John III; siblings Frank (Esther) Vande Corput; Marie (Joe) Hietpas; Johanna " Anna" Rutledge; Augusta (Ben) Schweiner; Margaret (Ernest) Janssen; Cecelia (Lawrence) Waller; Martin (Kathryn) Vande Corput; Josephyne (Mike) Henn; Dorothy Roskom; Norbert "Nubbs" Vande Corput; Herbert (Dorothy) Vande Corput;

Friends may call at Rivers of Life Christian Center, 522 Orlando Drive, De Pere, WI 54115 on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 12 noon with Pastor John Dessart officiating.
