John E. Wisniewski, age 77 passed away Monday, June 29, 2009 at his home with his family by his side. He was born September 8, 1931 son of the late Frank and Bernice (Bishop) Wisniewski. On June 28, 1952 he was united in marriage to Lola Blom.
John farmed on the family farm in the Town of Lessor until his retirement. The farm was honored as a Century Farm in 2003. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Township of Cicero.
Survivors include his wife Lola, their children: Mike (Linda) Wisniewski, Black Creek; Jean Wisniewski , Pulaski; Donald (Barb) Wisniewski, Pulaski; Curt (Jennifer) Wisniewski, Black Creek; seven grandchildren: Dave (Brenda) Wisniewski, Melissa Wisniewski, Marcus (fiancee Sarah) Hennig, Josh Wisniewski,, Dana Wisniewski, Angela (Nick) Feldman, and Tyler Wisniewski,; three great-grand babies: Gabby, Austin, and Camden; four sisters: Joyce Thyes, Green Bay; Gladys (Arnie) Beyer, Lakewood; Sylvia Adamski, Hofa Park; Ruth (Dick) Bickel, Green Bay.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 4 PM until 8 PM. Visitation will continue Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Cicero Immanuel Lutheran Church from 9:30 AM until funeral services at 11 AM with Pastor Bill Schroeder officiating. Burial at Elm Lawn Cemetery.
