Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Joseph C. Becher, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Joe was born on November 14, 1957 a son of the late Francis and Rita (Nichols) Becher.
Joe was united in marriage to Cheryl Holyoke on June 25, 1976. She preceded him in death on July 3, 2016.
Every one of our days are numbered. In those number of days we have things that God has for us to do. Joe knew this very well and lived his life accordingly. He loved God with all of his heart. He loved his wife and family and many friends. He did whatever it took to provide for those he loved no matter how many jobs and hours he had to work.
Joe never turned down a chance to help someone in need whether he knew them or not. He lived his life to serve because that's what God had for him to do. His work has been completed, his goals have been reached, and it's time for him to rest in the arms of his lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his two sons: Shane (Dawn) Becher and Josh (Jenni) Becher; grandchildren: Tristen, Chloe, and Emily; siblings: Mary (John) Valenta, Frank (Jean) Becher, Ray (Lil) Becher, Larry Becher, Marcie Stover, and Alice (Lyle) Burmeister; sister-in-law, Julie (David) Karnopp.
Visitation for Joe will take place at Seymour Assembly of God Church on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 6:00 pm with Pastor Phil Engle officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you help someone else that is in need, just as Joe always did.
Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
