Joseph E. Blohm, 56, of Neenah passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his home of natural causes. He was born June 20, 1957 son of Alvin and Florine (Wachtendonck) Blohm.
Joe was a 1975 graduate of Seymour High School and a 1979 graduate from St. Norbert College in De Pere. He retired from U.W. Oshkosh in 2013 where he was Director of the University Books & More and Director of Parking Services. Joe said, "He was the most hated man on campus!"
He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Blohm, Oshkosh; parents, Alvin and Florine Blohm, Seymour; sisters: Judy Blohm, Mary (Jeff) Skinkis, Marsha Vande Hei; brothers: Mike (Mary) Blohm, Mark Blohm, Jim (Cory) Blohm, Matt (Deb) Blohm, all of Seymour; John Blohm (special friend Candy Webster), Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Paul Vande Hei.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. and will continue at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Friends and relatives will remember his humor and generosity. He loved people especially being a member of the Neighborhood Gang and he always put students first at U.W. Oshkosh. Mother hopes you will forgive her for burning your baseball cards.
