Josephine Marnocha

Josephine (Raasch) Marnocha, 87, of Seymour passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Shepherd's Inn. She was born on June 27, 1927 in Pulcifer, Wisconsin to Walter and Nora (Larsen) Raasch. Josephine graduated from Shawano High School in 1944.
She was united in marriage to Orville J. Marnocha of Seymour on April 16, 1951 in Gillette WI. Jo and Orville settled in Seymour where they raised their six children: Mary Jo (Glen) Blohm, Toledo OH; Jean (John) Wroblewski, Seymour; Greg (Kim) Marnocha, Seymour; Debra (Richard Decker) Marnocha, Lakewood, CO; Thomas (Heidi) Marnocha, Huntington Beach, CA; John Marnocha, Dillon, CO. She is further survived by her seven loving grandchildren: Erin (Dan) Righi and Ashley Blohm of Toledo OH, Brooke (Ryan) Sumner of Black Creek; Mallory (Jordan Thiel) Marnocha of Appleton; Joshua (Katie VanDynHoven) Marnocha of Little Chute; Nicholas Marnocha and Allyson Marnocha of Huntington Beach, CA., Renee (Peter) Page, Ripon, WI; her five great-grandchildren: Jackson and Paige Righi, Remy and Rowan Sumner, and Brystol Thiel; her sister Mary (Roger) Robertson of Libby, Montana; step-brother Donald (Chris) Sheldon, Newald, WI; and sister-in law Nancie (James) Sherman of Lafayette, CA; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Orville; her parents Walter and Nora Raasch; father-in-law and mother-in-law Stanley and Martha Marnocha; step-mother Audrey Raasch; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Richard and Doris Marnocha.
Mom's wishes were to be cremated and buried alongside our Dad. Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 9 am until the memorial Mass of Christian burial at 11 am with Fr. Bob Kabat and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at the parish cemetery.
