JOSHUA JOHN GARCIA
September 5, 1986 – October 2, 2018
Josh answered the Lord’s call to come Home on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. His earthly journey of 32 years has ended and his new journey of peace in Heaven has begun.
Josh was born September 5, 1986, in Neenah to Debbie Nelson. Josh enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially ice fishing, while his mother panicked. He loved spending time with his daughters Madison Niec, Emmalina Leibold, and cherished cousin/Goddaughter Nikki Hofacker. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, whom were all like brothers to him. He was exceptional at welding and had a great passion for the outdoors.
Josh is survived by his mother, Debbie, and sister Felicia, Black Creek; daughters, Madison Niec, Emmalina Leibold; grandparents Ron and Marie Nelson, Black Creek; aunt, Cindy (Jason) Hofacker, Black Creek; uncle, Todd (Cindy Jackson) Nelson, Kimberly; aunt, LaVonne Anderson, Montana; cousins: Amanda Bernier, D.J. (Emmy Stern) Bernier, Nikki (Nikkipants) Hofacker, and Jessica DeDecker.
He is further survived by; uncle, Keith (Connie) Shebilske, Larsen; aunt, Brenda Shebilske, Larsen; cousins: Zach Ory, Kody Ory, Heather Shebilske, and Katie (Mike) Barron; great aunt, Jeannie Bernier; great uncle, and aunt, Danny (Marion) Rasmussen; great uncle and aunt, Marlin (Judy) Nelson.
Josh’s friends, all of whom he considered brothers (and two sisters), include: Jesse (Laurana), Luke, Lance and Chelsea Hoh, Jason Rekoske, Cory Lemke, Mike Brandon, and several others - will carry on, living off the many great memories created.
Preceded in death by cousin, Taylor Nelson; grandma, LaVerne Nelson; great-grandparents: Clarence and Mildred Nelson; Helmuth and Rachel Thomas.
Josh’s life will be celebrated with visitation 4-8 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour; and 9-11 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2018, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N. Main St., Seymour, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial immediately following in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour.
