Joyce H. Heiden, age 78, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday morning, November 4, 2007, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born January 4, 1929, daughter of the late Herman and Erma (Schroeder) Bahr. On June 14, 1947 she was united in marriage to Gilbert 'Gib' Heiden at St. John's Lutheran Church in the Town of Center. He preceded her in death November 16, 2003. Joyce was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek and had been employed with Zwicker Knitting Mills for 20+ years. She enjoyed traveling, car rides and playing cards.

Survivors include her children: Gary (Jan) Heiden, Seymour; Dean Heiden, Mc Henry, IL; Jim (Alice) Heiden, Appleton; Joy Lynn (Harold) Ellenbecker, Greenville; Tom Heiden (special friend Bonnie), Nichols; Steve (Pam) Heiden, Appleton; Laurie (Eugene) Linsmeyer, Greenville; and Jill Stephani, Black Creek. Grandchildren:: Christine (Don) Uben; Karri (Todd) Wendt; Jennifer (Gerry) Hinderberger; Tracy Heiden; Lindsey Heiden; Jeremy Heiden; Aaron Heiden; Tyler Heiden; Samuel Heiden; Cori and Jessica Stephani. Great-grandchildren: Mitchell and Emily Huben; Lucas and Rachel Wendt; Kristen and Kamdyn Hindenberger; Isis Heiden. She is further survived by: one sister, Marilyn Stein, Darboy; God Child, Melissa (Bob) Schumacher and their daughter, Riley.

Joyce was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Heiden and one brother-in-law, John Stein.

Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4-8 PM, Thursday, November 8, and Friday, November 9, from 10 AM until services at 11 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek with Pastor Steve Schlicht officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
