Judy Sigl

December 24, 1954 — December 31, 2020

Judy R. Sigl, age 66 of Gillett, passed away on December 31, 2020 at Serenity Gardens in Gillett. She was born December 24, 1954 a daughter of the late to Alvin and Ruth (Philipsen) Van Lanen.

She had a very strong work ethic, having worked at Kohl's for over 29 years.
Judy was selfless and she always put others before her.

She was an incredible baker, loved to cook, and always made four times the amount of food that was needed. Sitting on the screen porch watching the birds, deer, and feeding the bears brought her peace and joy.

When she wasn't cross-stitching or knitting, watching the Packers on Sundays was some of her favorite things to do. She also enjoyed riding the Ranger through the woods, and in her younger years enjoyed snowmobiling.

Most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. Judy spoiled her grandchildren every time she had a chance.

She is survived by her longtime significant other, Chris Wagner; children: Eric (Amanda McKay) Kuntz; Nathan (Kaitlyn) Sigl, and Chantel Sigl; grandchidlren: Sierra, Ryder, Piper, and Josie is on the way; Chris's children: Jeff (Ricki) Wagner and Melissa Hooyman; Chris's grandchildren: Emily, Kyle, Chase, and Adelyn. She is further survived by her siblings: Joan (Steve) Cerveny, Janet (Dennis) Kohn, and Pat (Karen) Van Lanen; many nieces and newphews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers: Jeffery Van Lanen and Thomas "Tom" Van Lanen.

Due to the COVID pandemic, funeral services for Judy will be private. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed to Judy's family at www.muehlboettcher.com
