Juelaine Krahn

March 7, 1931 — July 10, 2014

Juelaine Mavis Krahn, age 83, of Seymour passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born March 7, 1931 in Appleton, to the late William A. and Eva (Wagner) Rusch.
Juelaine graduated from Freedom High School in 1949.
On June 30, 1951 she was united in marriage to Clarence Krahn and together they farmed in the Town of Seymour and spent the remaining years on the 300 acre home farm.
Juelaine was well known in the community as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and a member of the Green Bay West congregation. She was zealous to spread the "Good news of God's kingdom" in the door to door ministry. Juelaine most of all cherished her children, and grandson, showering them with love, affection, and her time.
Early on in life Juelaine, and her brother Bernie sang, and danced. They spent some time traveling the country having the opportunity to appear on programs including WGN Radio, and the Milton Berle Show. They eventually ended up in California performing in a theatre production, and planned to audition for the Lawrence Welk Show. They won many talent competitions along the way until they returned home because she "missed her family, especially her little sister Evalyn." Upon returning home she was voted "Miss Seymour."
Juelaine was concerned about helping people in any way she could, and so she spent much of her time spreading the Bible's message door to door. She also enjoyed traveling with Clarence and her children, as well as her sister Evalyn and Dan Johnson, but most of all she was content spending time at home with her family.
She is survived by her children: Kevan (Sandy) Krahn, Seymour, Rhonda (Todd) Vande Corput, Seymour, and Renae (Mark) Parker, Black Creek; grandson Christopher Vande Corput, Seymour; sister, Evalyn Johnson, Seymour.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; one brother, Bernard Rusch; brother-in-law, Dan Johnson
