Justin Knorr

Justin Michael "Firebug" Knorr, 32, Seymour, was taken home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 26, 2022. He was born December 9, 1989, to Joe and Diane Knorr. Justin was a 2008 graduate of Shiocton High School. He worked at Midwest Perlite for several years and recently began employment at Pierce Manufacturing.

Justin loved spending his free time four wheeling and hunting. He found peace around bonfires, hence his nickname "Firebug." Justin also liked camping, kayaking, and fishing. He was a true outdoorsman and loved to make people laugh. Most importantly Justin devoted his life to his family and friends; his girls meant the world to him.

Survivors include his parents, Joe and Diane Knorr; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Barb Barclay; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Nancy Knorr; fiancee, Jacqueline Prahl; two daughters: Mia Knorr and Sierra Knorr; one sister, Crystal (Troy) Traxler; two Goddaughters/nieces, Athena and Jaylynn Traxler; family friend, Nick VanderZanden and his family; other relatives and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his stepson, Jacen Ellestad; and one uncle, Michael Knorr; and one cousin, Morgan Lohrenz.

Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Visitation will continue at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N. Main Street, Seymour, on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
