Kathi Lubinski

March 7, 1950 — December 4, 2022

Kathleen A. Lubinski (nee Otis), 72 of Seymour, Wisconsin was born to eternal life on December 4, 2022. She was born on March 7, 1950, to the late Delbert and Hazel (Reinert) Otis.
Kathi was a 1968 graduate of New London High School. After high school, she attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point for one year and then continued her education at Bryant & Stratton in Milwaukee where she graduated while also working at the Milwaukee Journal. Kathi began her career working for the Outagamie County Executive's Office. She then became the manager of the Outagamie County District Attorney's Office where she caught the eye of a young attorney Robert Lubinski in 1977. The two were united in marriage on July 11, 1980 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Seymour. She later continued her career at Bob's office of Lubinski, Rottier, Reed and Klass where she was a valued asset to the law firm until she retired in 2018.
Kathi loved the water! Her love of the water began as a child spending her summers at the Hatten Park swimming pool in New London and water skiing and boating at her parents' cottage on the Waupaca Chain O' Lakes. After she married Bob, their cottage on Shawano Lake became the focal point of Kathi's summers where you could find her boating, decorating the cottage or tending to her flowers every day. After retirement, Kathi and Bob purchased a winter home in Englewood, Florida, which allowed her to spend even more time on the water boating on the intracoastal waterway. In the winter, she kept busy with bowling and downhill skiing. She absolutely loved to shop for bargains, not only for herself but others. She became the de facto travel agent for family and friends, using her expertise to surf the internet and find deals.
Kathi and Bob had two children Ryan and Lindsey. They meant the world to her! The family adventures included road trips across the U.S. and attending the children's sports activities. Summers with the children were spent on Shawano Lake, the Waupaca Chain O'Lakes and in Door County. When Ryan and Lindsey studied abroad in Spain, they jumped at the chance to visit and see more of the world, making many new friends along the way.
She is survived by her husband Bob Lubinski, son Ryan Lubinski and daughter Lindsey (Matt) Schumacher. She is further survived by her brothers Chuck (Becky) Otis and Ken Reinert, her sister Bonnie (Ed) Jungwirth, Bob's siblings: Dick (Donna) Lubinski, Jane (John) Clegg, Ann (Randy) Reed, and Mary (Patrick) Klass and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents Delbert and Hazel (Reinert) Otis and Bob's parents Vernon and Evelyn (Mastey) Lubinski.
The family extends a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Cherry Meadows Hospice for their kindness, care, and support.
