Kelly Sue Vanark, age 48, of Isaar lost her battle with cancer on Monday, August 1, 2022 . She was born on January 7, 1974 a daughter of Kenneth and Karen (Springstroh) Platten.
She was united in marriage to Gregory Vanark on September 13, 1997 in Seymour.
Kelly worked at S & L Motors in the service department for 22 years where she met many people.
Kelly loved her dart nights having played in leagues and tournaments for many years with her "Dart Ladies", and she had a lot of fun bowling in the couples leagues in her younger years.
She was a natural caregiver and nurturer. It was well known that she always was putting the needs of other people first. More than anything else, she loved her entire family.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Greg; children: Kendra (fiance, Tyler) Vanark, Kyle (fiance, Olivia) Vanark and Kegan Vanark; siblings: Karrie (Craig Pionek) Platten, Kris and Tom Moeller, Karla and Chad Ossmann, Katie and Jake VandeVoort, and Kenny (Jodell Gagnow) Platten; brother-in-law, Chuck (Paula) Vanark; nieces and nephews: Mandy, Rayann and Chase Moeller, Randy and TJ (fiance, Janelle) Ewert, Jessica and Melissa Ossmann, Wesley and Robby VandeVoort, Michael and Marie Vanark. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, her dog, Tucker; and grandpup, Nala.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Platten; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Kathleen Vanark; paternal and maternal grandparents; and her dog, Sadie.
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a parish prayer service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar from 9:30 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery at a later date.
