Kenneth E. Roskom, 83, of Black Creek, passed away Monday morning, October 16, 2017, at his home with his family by his side. He was born August 7, 1934, son of the late Gilbert and Dorothy Roskom.
Ken is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cicero. He was employed with Heyrman Construction until his retirement. Ken was a past member of Pittsfield Gun Club and enjoyed trap shooting, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed his trips to Canada, gardening, playing cribbage and his trike rides. Ken was a man of many talents and was known as the booyah connoisseur.
He is survived by his very special friend, Jean Smith; children: Sandy (Bill) Lemke, Craig (Linda) Mayotte, Linda Skarda, Chris Mayotte, Rene (Mike) Walker, Laureen (Jim) Hayden; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers: Clayton (Dody) Roskom and Lenny Roskom; two sisters: Doris Geer and Judy Smurawa.
Ken is preceded in death by his wife, Joan; brother, Norman and sister, Shirley.
Friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church, N9580 County Rd. X, Black Creek on Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 10:00 am until services at noon with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating.
