Kevin Michael Vraa passed away peacefully at the home of his best friend and caregiver, Jane Seefeldt in Seymour Wisconsin on Monday, October 10, 2022. Kevin was born in Crookston Mn on December 31, 1956, to Ivan and Barbara.
His early childhood was spent in several cities finally landing in Tigerton Wisconsin. He graduated from Tigerton HS and immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served as a very proud Marine for 4 years and upon discharge came home and drove truck for several companies finally settling in as a company fleet driver for Fort Howard Paper in Green Bay. He retired after 27 years and on January 1, 2012, his lifelong dream began and KMV Transport LLC was born. He lived his dream driving his beloved "Pete" until September 2019, when medical issues made it too difficult to continue.
He will be greatly missed by his brother and sister: Keith (Laurie) and Karyn (Ken); his children: Matt (Vicki), Danielle, Brittany, and Adam (Kayla); along with numerous grandchildren, nephews, niece, and cousins. He is also survived by half-brother, Mike Vraa; and half-sister, Joann Lis; and stepsister, Dawn Lis-Broz.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no formal service or burial. Kevin expressly requested a military send off with 21-gun salute. Followed by a celebration of his life. His sendoff will be held October 22, 2022, at the Tigerton American Legion in Tigerton, Wi at 11am with the celebration of his life to follow at Hidden Valley Supper Club in Caroline, Wi from 12 noon until 3pm.
