Krista Knapp

Krista Michelle Knapp, 51, of town of Center, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

Krista always had a love of helping others, animals, especially her dogs, and arts and crafts. She was tech-savvy, incredibly funny, and a lover of pop-culture, especially Disney and ComiCon.

Krista loved her family fiercely. Often putting their needs above any of their own. She would lend a hand, an ear or whatever was needed to help her siblings, which was usually an offer to beat someone up she thought wronged them.

Her family will remember the many memories they shared together and all her wonderful qualities. We hope her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her loving parents: Steven and Debra Knapp; siblings: Josh (Emily) Knapp, Olivia (William) Rettmann, and Kalena (Shaun) Mefford; nieces: Gina (Brad) Kibler, Kirra Jacobs and Catlin Burk. Great-nephew, Michael Diels III; and great-niece, Haven Kibler.

She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents: Donald Knapp and Edith Knapp Willoughby and Harold Lawson and Glenna Sherlock.

A celebration of life for Krista will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 9 a.m. until the memorial service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be expressed to Krista's family at www.muehlboettcher.com
