Krystal Kay Vruwink (Bluma), of Iola (formerly of Seymour) passed away at the age of 60, on March 24, 2018, surrounded by her family. Krystal was born on June 1, 1957, to Jerome "Harry" and Alice Bluma. She was married to Al Vruwink on October 8, 2011.
Krystal enjoyed days spent outside gardening, and watching the birds and wildlife in her backyard. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren, of whom she was so proud. Krystal was a talented seamstress, spending many hours at her sewing machine. Another favorite weekend pastime was going for long Harley rides with her husband, or taking canoe trips down the river.
She is survived by her husband, Al Vruwink; her children: Traci (Nicholas) Scotch, grandson Mason; Thomas (Holly) Van De Yacht, grandson Rhett; William Van De Yacht (Kayla Kapitzke); Abigail (Brandon) Yaeger, granddaughter Stella. She is further survived by her mother, Alice Bluma; her siblings: Barbara (Butch) Van Boxtel, Suzy Bluma (Dick Boyd), Mary Jo (Keith) Buchburger, Patti (Cy) Letter, Tom (Judy) Bluma, Michael (Carol) Bluma, Robert (Karen) Bluma, Laurie (Tim) Jaskolski, Joey (Dori) Bluma, Danny (Ginny) Bluma,and Greg (Mary) Bluma; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; step-daughter, Andrea Ritchie; niece, Danielle Bluma; and nephew, Anthony Mack.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour, from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Brian Belongia and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating.
