ARNOLDUSSEN, LA VERNE DOROTHY
La Verne Dorothy Arnoldussen, age 78, passed away Saturday evening, April 17, 2010, on her birthday, at the St Paul Home. She was born April 17, 1932, daughter of the late Adrian and Ella (Geurts) Van Rossum. She was united in marriage to Myron (Mike) Arnoldussen on December 28, 1950, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, baking cookies with her great grandchildren and even learned to use the computer.
Survivors include her children: Larry (Laurie Merline) Arnoldussen, Menasha; Dennis (friend Jan Jansen) Arnoldussen, Appleton; three grandchildren: Lance (Crystal) Arnoldussen, Watertown; Lisa (Bill) Stephenson, Menasha; LuAnn (Russ) Monroe, Chilton; nine great-grandchildren: Kayla, Alexis,
Logan, Brennan, Masie, Zada, David, Amber, and Josh (fiance Casey); two great-great-grandchildren: Sophia and Nicholas; two sisters: Rosie Grode, Freedom; Bernice Dercks, Little Chute; three brothers: Donald (Mary) Van Rossum, FL; Ronald (Barbara) Van Rossum, Freedom; Eugene (Sue) Van Rossum, Freedom; one sister-in-law, Carol Van Rossum, Princeton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Fabian Arnoldussen, DePere; Loretta Arnoldussen, Freedom; Pat (Joan) Grady, DePere, Bob(Florus) Weyenberg, Freedom; God Children: Lance Arnoldussen, Jeff Van Rossum, and Rosalie Poquette and Kayla and Alexis Arnoldussen; former daughter-in-law, Linda Rohm.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Van Rossum; four brothers-in-law: Bert Arnoldussen and Hilary Arnoldussen, Wayne Grode and Roger Dercks; one sister-in-law, Juline Grady; and her great-granddaughter, Maddison Stephenson.
Friends may call at St. Nicholas Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, from 10 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at noon with Father Dave Hoffman and Deacon Don Newhouse officiating.
