Larry Drephal

November 21, 1945 — May 12, 2012

Larry E. Drephal, age 66, of Black Creek, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born November 21, 1945 to the late Elmer and Vera (Wehrman) Drephal.

He married Peggy Martin on February 14, 1986. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Black Creek.

Larry worked as a carpenter for many years. Together with Peggy they owned Peggy's Midtown in Black Creek.

Larry was a Hodag fan for the past 20 years. He enjoyed trips in the motorhome to the river to fish. Larry loved his John Deere tractors and enjoyed cooking. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, great grandchild, and great nephew.

Larry was active in the Black Creek Advancement Association, a longtime member of the Outagamie County Tavern League, and a member of Shadows on the Wolf.

Larry is survived by his wife Peggy; his step-children: Michael (Jessica) Parker, Appleton; Mark (Renae) Parker, Black Creek; Missy (Brian) Friedrich, Shawano; grandchildren: Michael (special friend Heather) Parker, Black Creek; Daniel (Amanda) Parker, Seymour; Cody Parker (special friend Tina), Black Creek; and Kyle Friedrich, Shawano; great grandchild Trenton; sister Carol (Duane) Henke, Black Creek; nephew Jason (Amber) Henke, Neenah; niece Nikki (Dan) Berndt, Hortonville; and great nephew Karsyn. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, May 16th, 2012 at St. John's United Church of Christ, Black Creek, from 9 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Gail Irwin officiating.
