Lee Genske

August 3, 1943 — February 22, 2025

Lee A. Genske, 81, town of Maine passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Appleton following a brief illness. He was born on August 3, 1943 son of the late Edward and Carrie (Shepherd) Genske.

He was proud to serve in the National Guard for six years.

On November 6, 1965 he was united in marriage to Dianne Zarnoth having celebrated over 59 years of marriage.

Lee operated equipment for MRK and retired from Murphy Construction. He really enjoyed mowing his lawn.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne; daughters: Terri (Paul) Tank and Tammy (Ryan) Theobald; grandchildren: Skylar (Haeleygh) Finder, Hannah (fiance, Hunter Effa) Theobald, and Sawyer Theobald; one great-grandson, Axel Finder. Further survived by his sisters: Doris Kettner and Rosella Kettner; sister-in-law, Judy Genske; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: David (Kay) Zarnoth, Jean Eick, Tina Palubicki, Deb (Jeff) Stray, Linda Vande Voort, and Luanne Zarnoth; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Genske; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd and Ardell Zarnoth; brothers: Lloyd, Merle, and Rolland Genske; sisters: Arlene (Jack) Huse and Lorraine (Donald) Remmel; brothers-in-law: Merlin "Tobe" Kettner, Paul Kettner, Michael Zarnoth, Nick Vande Voort, and Tom Eick.

Visitation for Lee will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at South Cicero Cemetery.
