Leola A. Seitz, 95, of Black Creek, passed away peacefully Monday evening, August 18, 2014 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born on February 23, 1919 daughter of the late George and Olga (Krueger) Uhlenbrauck. She was united in marriage on September 30, 1944 to Harold L. Seitz in Black Creek. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2013.
Leola was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek where she was a past member of the Ladies Aid.
She was a homemaker her entire life and enjoyed gardening, making rag rugs, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Roger (Joan) Seitz, Black Creek; Darlene (Arden) Voigt, Black Creek; Betty (Orland) Koenig, De Pere; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sister Mildred Nelson, Seymour.
Leola was preceded in death by her brother, Ruben (Doloris) Uhlenbrauck; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Clarence Nelson, Ervin (Adeline), Melvin, Norman, Clarence, Herbert and Elmyra (Wilbur) Beyer.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. and visitation will continue on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Schlicht Pastor John Brandt officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
