Levi Oldham

August 16, 1993 — October 14, 2015

Levi Robert Oldham, age 22, died unexpectedly due to a motorcycle accident on October 14, 2015, the younger son of Robert and Vicky Oldham of rural Pound. Levi was born on August 16, 1993. Levi currently lived in Lena with his brother Austin Oldham and his friend Erik Williams.
Levi graduated from the Electro-Mechanical Program at NWTC and was employed as a maintenance electrician at Waupaca Foundry in Marinette for the past 14 months, a field of work he enjoyed very much. He grew up attending the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Oconto Falls, read the Bible, and believed in what it taught. We look forward to the resurrection hope that is promised in the Bible at John 5:28-29.
Levi moved to Lee Lake with his family when he was five and developed a love for the outdoors. He would fish from the dock, set traps in the neighborhood, and practice archery using little bows and arrows that he carved himself. Later he became an avid deer hunter and looked forward to hunting at "The Shack" every year. He prided himself on only using one bullet, and would get on the radio and simply say, "Dead Eye Levi" after the shot.
He enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball with his friends on Monday nights, and watching the NBA as often as possible with his roommates. He owned the car he always wanted, an AWD Lancer Ralliart, and loved to tinker with it, making improvements. Lately his love was "hitting the open road" on his new motorcycle, riding as much as he could. Most of all, he loved his big brother, who he lived with every day of his life. He had a cheeky grin, a sharp wit, and a knack for making others laugh at times like these. Our "little man" was a good son, a good brother, a good friend, and we will miss him very, very much.
Levi is survived by his parents, Robert and Vicky; brother, Austin Oldham; grandparents: Elsabea Oldham, Crivitz; Eugene and Helen Boettcher, Shawano; aunts and uncles: Linda (Allan) Raymond, Christine (Bruce) Casarotto, Allen Oldham, Daniel "Butchie" Boettcher, and Cindy (Curt LaChapelle) Schroeder. Further survived by cousins: Ginny, Becky, Alyssa, Tanya (Toby), Ryan (Megan), Liam, and Marley; good friends: Erik Williams and Aaron Stuiber.
Levi is preceded in death by his grandfather, Aubrey Oldham.
Friends may call at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 506 N Chestnut Ave, Oconto Falls, WI, 54154 on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 1pm until the memorial service at 3 pm with James McClure officiating. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family with arrangements.

We would like to thank the Oconto EMS, the Emergency Room staff at St. Vincent Hospital, the Good Samaritan who held Levi's hand until the ambulance arrived, and the neighbor who took the time and had the thoughtfulness to clean the accident scene. A special thanks to all our family, friends, and co-workers who are helping our family get through this, and as always, to Ronald "Toby" Welch and his family, your daughters have always been "big sisters" to our boys.
