Linda Kay Klaas, 69, of Seymour; made her last move on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. She was born Dec. 9, 1947, in Rhinelander, WI to the late Joe and Betty Klaas.
Linda enjoyed being on the move. Linda had a love for cooking and loved to make chicken and dumplings. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and enjoyed putting up her large Christmas village every year. She always said family is the most important thing and to always be together for holidays.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Richard (Dawn) Elm, South Bend, IN; Dawn Elm, Seymour; grandchildren: Ashley, Emily and Riley Elm; two sisters, Carol (Bill) Miller, Rhinelander, WI; Candy (Tom) Roberts, Chilton, WI; two sisters-in-law, Barb Klaas, Green Bay, WI; Michele Klaas (Rick), Phoenix, AZ; special cousin, Wendy (Joe) Linsmeyer, Seymour; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by an infant son, Teddy Elm; brothers, Joe and Ray (Skeeter) Klaas.
A gathering will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 3 p.m. until the memorial service at 5 p.m. with Father Bob Kabat officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at
