Lois Dalke, age 90, of Seymour passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence in De Pere. She was born on May 21, 1934 to the late Leland and Claire (Bredleau) Limberg. Lois was united in marriage to Marvin Dalke on April 15, 1954 in Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2008.
She was a faithful member of the Seymour United Methodist Church.
Lois was involved in 4-H, UW Extension, HCE Homemakers, Salvation Army, and enjoyed quilting. She loved to sing and was in the Shaminade Chorus, the Chantelles, the church choir, and the Extension Cords. She received the Seymour Citizen of the Year Award and Salvation Army Award and enjoyed making quilts for the veterans. Lois was active in the community with the Seymour Historical Society Museum, Oneida Head Start, and Oneida Housing. She had a long and blessed life.
She is survived by her children: Mark (Patricia) Dalke, Daun Van Den Heuvel, and Monty (Laura Jost) Dalke; daughter-in-law, Nancy Dalke; grandchildren: Adam (Kimberly) Dalke; Chadd, Angela, and Mike (Ashley) Ven Den Heuvel; Sara (Drew) Van Den Heuvel, Josh (Katie) Dalke, DeAnna (Larry) Tank, and Ashley (Destry) Griesbach; great-grandchildren: Jordyn, Olivia, Remi, Liam, and Aria Rose Van Den Heuvel; Sebastian and Kendra Dalke; Drake and ZoeLee Sengbusch; Natalee Martin; Wesley, Dane, and Quinn Dalke; Klohe and Trevor Tank; and Jonas and Alma Stattine. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Martha Dalke; special friends: Lois and Larry Schwister, Jon and Mel and the Heinke family; many nieces, nephews, and foster children.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marvin, she was preceded in death by her son, David Dalke; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at New Life Methodist Church, Seymour on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Gail Ray officiating. Interment will take place at Seymour City Cemetery.
