Lois Vinson

Lois I. Vinson, age 92, of Black Creek WI, formerly of Bakersfield, CA, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2014. She was born on September 26, 1921, in Poteau, Oklahoma to the late Hilliard and Lucy Taylor. Lois was married to her college sweetheart Bill Vinson, for 65 years who preceded her in death in 2008.

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Murry) Britt, Billy (Patty) Vinson, and Kris (Jim) Lewis; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.

She loved being around all her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed the many trips to Vegas and Laughlin, playing golf, her bridge group, and numerous cruises and world travels. She enjoyed many years as a volunteer at Guild House.

Memorial services will be held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, WI on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will take place in Bakersfield, CA at Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
