Lorraine M. Miller, age 93, Seymour, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, October 2, 2010. She was born July 7, 1917, daughter of the late Edward and Stella (Garvey) Murphy in Freedom. On April 17, 1941,she was united in marriage to Bill Miller. He preceded her in death June 21, 1982. From 1946 until 1976, she and her husband owned and operated Miller's Department Store in Seymour. Lorraine was member of St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour, and the Christian Mothers of the church.
Survivors include her children: JoAnn (Tom) Schroeder, Loon Lake, Terry (Lynn) Miller, Wild Rose, Mary Ann Balma, Seymour; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Delores Murphy, Freedom; and a brother-in-law, Bill Jensen, Florida. She was preceded in death by a grandson Cody Miller, two sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour, on Tuesday, October 5, from 5:00 until the Funeral Maas at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Robert Kabat officiating. Entombment in Allouez Mausoleum. Online condolences can be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
