Lou A. Geborek, age 55, Nichols, passed away Saturday morning, August 21, 2010, at a Green Bay hospital. She was born October 23, 1954, daughter of Selma (Hammond) Krueger and the late Clifford Gilbert. On May 2, 1998, she was united in marriage to Ted Geborek in Appleton. Lou was involved at Nichols Memory Mall & Coffee Shop and was active in the Nichols community activities.
Survivors include her husband, Ted; one daughter, Jane (Jeff) Groth, Missouri; four grandchildren; her mother, Selma Krueger, Nichols; siblings: Barb (Barry) Witthuhn, Shawano; Mary (Keith) Krueger, Seymour; Kerry (Judy) Krueger, Nichols; Gary Krueger, Nichols; nieces and nephews; and friend, Kathy Danke.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Block.
A celebration of Lou's life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Muehl - Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, at 1:00 p.m., with a gathering from 11:00 a.m. until time of services with Pastor Gregory Sorenson officiating.
