Louise M. Van Boxtel, 90, of Seymour, passed away Sunday Morning, February 26, 2017. She was born May 6, 1926, daughter of the late Peter and Clara (Sausen) Linders. On May 10, 1947, she was united in marriage to Raymond Van Boxtel in Oneida.
Louise was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom. She enjoyed to cook and was an excellent cook, loved living on the farm and her chores, animals, gardening and enjoyed the outdoors.
She is survived by her husband, Ray; children: Barbara (special friend Leo) Kreil, Gary (Eileen) Van Boxtel, Julie (Brad Boyles) Van Boxtel; grandchildren: Scott (Kristi) Kreil, Rob (Jennie) Kreil, Jennifer (Troy) Cox, Andrew (Kendra) Van Boxtel, Joseph (Rebecca) Van Boxtel and Amanda Boyles; ten great-grandchildren: Kendra, Connor, Sam, Ben, Libby, Madison, Marcus, Tyler, Jayden and Eleanor; sons-in-law: Dave Delling and Jerry Vanden Elzen; sisters: Evelyn Hug, Mary Lou Puls, Patricia Przyblski; one brother, Bernard (Donna) Linders; brother-in-law, Sylvester (Delores) Van Boxtel.
Preceded in death by one infant daughter, Susan; daughters, Debbie and Kathy; son, Mike; son-in-law, Kenneth Kreil.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom on Friday, March 3, 2017, from 11 a.m. until Mass of Christian burial at noon with Fr.
