Lucille Margaret Miller, age 88, passed away on June 26, 2013. She was born on December 15, 1924 in the Town of Black Creek, Wisconsin. She is the daughter of the late Theodore and Lydia (Dunker) Miller and the wife of the late Robert Mack Miller of Seymour, Wisconsin. They were married October 19, 1946.
Survivors include her children Susan Mayer and Sally (Dan) Natchek; her granddaughter, Shannon Mayer; step-grandchildren: Janice (Michael) Cavaliere, Katie (Scott) Huggins, Lisa Natchek; three great step-grandchildren: Tristan, Cora and Briona Huggins; and a special friend Frank Colling.
Lucille is a graduate of Seymour High School, worked five years for R. Kuehne Sons, eight years at Pauly Cheese Company, and thirty years at the First National Bank of Seymour (nka Bank One and Chase Bank). She completed coursework at the American Institute of Banking and retired in 1990 as the Customer Service Officer at Bank One.
Lucille is a lifetime member of the Seymour United Methodist Church and the Seymour United Methodist Women. She is a 66-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a Past President. She also was an active member of the Valley Business and Professional Women, helping organize the Black Creek-Seymour BPW. Additional memberships include the Green Bay Garden Club, the Red Hat Society and the Seymour Community Historical Society.
Lucille's greatest passions were flower gardening, cooking, dancing and the history of Seymour. We are sure she's supervising the Lord's gardens, dancing as she plants new seeds.
Funeral services will be held on June 28, 2013 at the Seymour United Methodist Church. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Rebecca Henry officiating. Burial will take place at the Seymour City Cemetery.
