Lucille H. Neuman, age 74, passed away Friday morning, June 27, 2008 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born September 24, 1933 to the late Martin and Bardena (Heezen) Van Den Langenberg. She was united in marriage to Elroy Neuman on December 26, 1951 in Oneida. He preceded her in death February 22, 1994. Lucille was a member at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oneida and a member of the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed bowling, card playing and time spent with family.
She is survived by two sons: Dennis (Christine) Neuman; Bruce (Kathy) Neuman; two daughters: Janet (Chub) Leisgang; Tina (Dave) Mueller; all of Seymour; daughter-in-law, Julie Neuman, Seymour; seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law: Dorothy Van Den Langenberg; La Rose Van Den Langenberg; Grace Vissers; Irene Klement.
Lucille was preceded in death by: her husband, Elroy; four sons: Joseph, Mark, Robert and Michael, one sister, Marion ("Sis") Seidl; six brothers: Pete, Norbert, Lambert, Harold, Bernard and James Van Den Langenberg.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, June 30, 2008 from 4 PM until 8PM with a prayer service at 7:30PM. Visitation will continue at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oneida on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 3 PM until Mass of Christian burial at 4PM with Father David Koch officiating.
