Lucille Van Lannen

Lucille E. (Nee Hackl) Van Lannen, 85, of Seymour passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, November 14, 2017, at Forest Glen, Seymour.  She was born January 3, 1932, daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Zepnick) Hackl.

Lucille owned and operated Luci’s Bar in Hofa Park for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, card playing, watching and identifying birds, and most of all she was an avid reader

Lucille is survived by her nine children: Wayne (Ellen) Van Lannen, Suamico; Jean Miller (Marty), Oneida; Audrey Van Lannen, New London; Cheryl Van Lannen, Appleton; Marilyn Parker, St. Charles, IL; Susan (Mike) Peters, Medford; Michael (Lori) Van Lannen, Barling, AR; Jack (Annette) Van Lannen, Pulaski; David (Christine) Van Lannen, Germany; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Kahnt, Florida; and brother, Norbert Hackl, Suamico.

She is preceded in death by her infant son, Richard; infant sister, Alice; brother, Gerald Hackl; and sisters: Virginia Ciesielczyk and Dorothy Van Gheem.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour Monday, November 20, 2017 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:30 pm.  Visitation will continue at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church, Isaar Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Father Brian Belongia officiating.  Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
