Lynette Mantei
July 22, 1946 — June 18, 2011
Lynette C. Mantei, age 64, passed away at home on Saturday, June 18, 2011 after fighting a battle with cancer.
She was born on July 22, 1946, daughter of the late Marvin and Valaria (Deppe) Mantei.
Lynette graduated from Seymour High School, attended UW-Oshkosh and UW-Stout. She received a Certification as an Executive Assistant. The majority of her career was spent at UW-Madison School of Business. Lynette had been retired for the past nine years and was the primary caregiver for both parents in their later years. Lynette enjoyed caring for her cats and country living.
She is survived by one brother, Ewlyn (Mary Jo) Mantei, Marinette; one nephew, Braden Mantei, Chicago and many cousins.
A private graveside service was held at the Brushville Cemetery, Poy Sippi, WI. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at
