Mabel M. Zuleger, age 95, of Black Creek, passed away Friday morning, January 17, 2014 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born June 12, 1918 to the late Edward and Dora (Sasman) Kluge.
On June 7, 1940, she was united in marriage to Milton Zuleger in Black Creek. He preceded her in death in 1996.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Black Creek where she was very involved with her church and the Women's Guild. Mabel enjoyed her family and her gardens.
She is survived by her daughter, Faye (Tim) Veldt, Black Creek; son, Zane (Judy) Zuleger, Minot, ND; five grandchildren: Margaret (Mike) Tanzillo, Amy (Paul) Ruedinger, Marsha (Shawn) Ferguson, Clayton (Tami) Veldt, Evan (Julie) Veldt; great-grandchildren: Zoe, Quinn, Rachel, Anna, Ethan, Caleb, Brooke, Hope and Caitlyn; brother, August (Charlotte) Kluge; sister-in-law, Eileen Zuleger.
She is preceded in death by her brother, John (Winifred) Kluge; sister, Lora (Norbert) Lemke.
Friends may call at St. John's United Church of Christ, Black Creek on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 1 p.m. until funeral services at 3 p.m. with Pastor Mark Schwinn officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
