Marcella C. Rohde, age 87, passed away Wednesday evening, November 14, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born March 28, 1920, daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Jansen) Oskey. On May 27, 1947 she was united in marriage to Fred Rohde. He preceded her in death December 16, 1983. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. Marcella was the first woman in the state to receive a Cheesemaker License and worked at the local grocery stores in Seymour until her retirement. Sal enjoyed music, gardening, loved feeding the birds and traveling.

She is survived by: her 3 sons, Steve Rohde, Little Chute; Randal Rohde, Seymour; John Rohde, Seymour; one brother, Ervin (Liz) Oskey, Mill Center; two sisters, Ellie (Elmer, 'Babe') Seidl, Seymour; Jean O'Keefe, DePere; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her brother, Gerald Oskey.

Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4 -8 P.M. , Monday, November 19, and Tuesday, November 20, from 10 A.M. until services at 11 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, Seymour with Father Robert Kabat officiating. Sal, was much loved and will be missed by all. We will miss your smile and sense of humor but your memory will be in out hearts forever.
