Margaret Barclay, age 92, of Seymour passed away Friday, December 7, 2007 in Seymour. She was born August 10, 1915 in Seymour to the late Gerry and Anna (Pautz) Schaumberg. On April 22, 1937 she was united in marriage to Maurice A. Barclay at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. Margaret and Maurice had 8 children and farmed for many years.

Margaret is survived by: her children, Gail Barclay, Appleton; Ann (Karl) Kuehl, Edgar; Melvin (Barb); Donald (Vonnie); Michael (Linda); Jean (Harvey, Jr.); Albert, and Janet Barclay (wife of Maurice Jr.), all of Seymour; twenty-nine grandchildren: Barb (Joe) Schaefer, Scott Barclay,; Bonnie McClone; Doug Barclay; Harvey III (Lynn) Albert, Eldon (Tina) Albert; Brian Albert and Summer Chartraw; Susan (Russell) Tilot; Cherie (John) Wood; Trudy (Rob) Powelson; Julie Albert; Karen (Doug) Neal; Diane (Joe) Knorr; Lyn (Pete) Leisgang; Tom Barclay; Ken Barclay; Becky (Bruce) Lohrenz; Keith Barclay; Kim Barclay; Terry (Steve) Garsow; Char (Tom) Wilson; Sharon (Kurt) Olson; Amanda (Jamie) Westphal; Abbey (Ebert) Nitzke; Ann E. (Eric) Peebles; Tracie Mc Keefry; Glen Barclay; Bobbi Barclay; and 40 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters and brothers: Beatrice Murphy; Florence Rusch; Dorothy (Carlton) Stellmacher; Bernice Riehl; Gerald (Gladys) Schaumberg; Maynard (Elaine) Schaumberg and sister-in-law, Beatrice Barclay.

She was preceded in death by: her husband Maurice; 2 sons, Maurice Jr. and Terry Barclay; 2 sisters, Marie Bunkleman and Vivian Druckrey; one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Visitation will continue at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, on Wednesday , December 12 , 2007 from 10A.M. until funeral service at 11 A.M. with Pastor Sara Yotter officiating.
