Margaret R. Vanden Heuvel, 96, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday evening, November 25, 2014, at Woodhaven Assisted Living in Pulaski. She was born September 12, 1918, daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Windel) Wagner.
On June 10, 1937, she was united in marriage to Joseph Vanden Heuvel. The couple farmed in the Town of Maple Grove until their retirement. She enjoyed her flowers, garden and farming with Joe all her life.
Margaret was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Isaar.
Survivors include brother, Carl (friend Judy) Wagner; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Delores Fleming, Helen Hill, Shirley (Gene) Kropp, Gladys (Gerald) Schaumberg and Dorothy Dimmer; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond; two sisters, Lucille Schwab and infant sister, Betty Ann; four brothers-in-law: Philip Schwab, Irwin Dimmer, Fred Hill, Robert Fleming; one sister-in-law, Joan Wagner; also Joe's family of eight brothers, two half-brothers, seven sisters and one half-sister.
Friends may call at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar, on Friday, November 28, 2014, from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM with Father Bob Kabat officiating.
