Marie Schmoll, age 96, passed away on March 25, 2021 at Homme Home in Wittenberg.
She was born on April 10, 1924 to the late Leonard and Nell (Verhoven) Vanden Hogen.
Marie was united in marriage to Cyril Schmoll on July 14, 1945. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2010. They lived on the family farm in the Township of Maine until 1962. Marie and Cyril were avid bus tourists and enjoyed their fishing trips to Geano Beach. She enjoyed family gatherings and time spent with her family and grandchildren. Marie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek.
She is survived by her children: Nancy Noack, William (Lois) Schmoll, Judy (Scott) Krueger, Richard (Debbie) Schmoll, Rae (Tim) Wilkinson, and Rose (Mark) Johnson; sister, Leona Lancour; 19 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy (Steve) Kominowski; son-in-law, Terry Noack; sisters and brothers.
A private family service will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek with Pastor Steve Schlicht officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
